This is an intensive workshop for personal healing or transformation.

We will follow the pathway of the Exodus story as a roadmap for spiritual growth and freedom. First, we'll face the constraints that afflict each of us in our Narrow Place and the struggles that plague us in the process of leaving it. Then, we'll cross through the parting sea into the vast unknown of the Wilderness, where we can receive the sustenance of new revelation. Finally, we'll face the challenge of crossing into the Land of Milk and Honey, where we can find a nurturing and sweet life.

We will draw on the teachings of Rabbi Alan Ullman and other sources to bring the biblical texts alive and help us to recognize the milestones on this archetypal passage. Drawing on ancient chants for grounding and photographs to bring the fierce, sacred landscape before us, we'll use guided visualizations to bring us into direct experience of this spiritual transformation. No prior study or knowledge of the story is needed.

Come with an open mind and an intention for healing or transformation in your life.

Please bring a notebook to record your experiences and a bandana to cover your eyes, if you have one. You may bring a small personal object to place on the altar. Comfortable clothes and warm socks or slippers are recommended. You will need to bring a lunch (or, there are a few local eatery choices within driving distance).

No prior journeying or meditation skills are needed.
